Method
AlphaEvolve uses an evolutionary search loop driven by a Gemini model:
- Generate algorithm candidates via Gemini
- Evaluate candidates with automated verifier
- Evolve promising candidates via mutation/crossover
- Iterate — the verifiable nature of algorithm correctness enables RL-style improvement
