Overview
Claude Science is a scientific research workbench that gives researchers a unified environment for computational work. It is not a new AI model and uses the same Claude Opus 4.8 available to all API users. The value is in the integration layer: 60+ scientific databases pre-connected, domain-specific toolkits (genomics, protein structure, chemistry), and a curated workflow designed for research tasks.
